Our cows are raised in the pasture and eat fresh grass during the growing season and grass and alfalfa hay during the winter. We feed no grains or antibiotics. Daily pasture moves during the summer bring the cows to fresh grass and away from the natural fertilizer they leave behind on our pastures.

We sell cows by half or whole, priced by hanging weight. Hanging weight is roughly 60% of live weight; our animals can range from 450 lbs to 750 lbs hanging weight, which will yield about 270 lbs to 450 lbs cut and wrapped meat. Customers will pick up their cut and frozen meat from the butcher south of Isle, MN. Expect to use 1 cubic foot of freezer space per 35-40 lbs of cut and wrapped meat.
